Snowy weather prompts school closures in Manitoba

A snowy spring storm touched down in western Manitoba this week, prompting a few closures and cancellations in the province on Thursday.

The following school divisions are reporting service disruptions, including some class and bus cancellations, for Thursday March 26, 2026:

• Evergreen School Division – All schools are closed and buses are cancelled.
• Mountain View School Division: All Ethelbert buses, Gilbert Plains bus GP-2 and Roblin bus R-5 are cancelled.
