Redwood Bridge closes for weekend; motorists advised to find alternate routes

The City of Winnipeg said the Redwood Bridge will close to traffic at 6:00 a.m. on Oct. 27 and will reopen at 6 a.m. on Oct. 29.

The Redwood Bridge will be completely closed to traffic starting Oct. 27 for structural steel repairs, maintenance and inspection, according to city officials.

The closure took effect Saturday morning at 6 a.m.

Drivers are advised to use alternate routes, such as the Disraeli Bridges and the Louise Bridge.

The Redwood Bridge is scheduled to reopen to traffic on Oct. 29 at 6 a.m.
