Ottawa police are seeking witnesses and information to identify a suspect following a reported sexual assault at an Orléans dog park on Sunday. Police say the incident occurred at around 4 p.m. in Heritage Dog Park at 6160 Orléans Blvd. The suspect is described as a Black male, in his late 20s to early 30s, approximately 5-feet-9 to 6-foot-2 inches tall with a fit or muscular build. He has a gap in his teeth and long, shoulder-length dreadlock-style hair. Police say he spoke English with no noticeable accent and he was wearing beige or light coloured clothing and a headband. Police did not provide further details on the incident. Police are asking anyone who may have been in the area of Heritage Dog Park during that time and may have witnessed anything suspicious to come forward. Investigators are also seeking anyone who may have dash cam or video surveillance footage in the area. If you see the suspect, do not approach him and call 911.
