Another August weekend, another intersection paving operation for Winnipeggers to watch out for. The city said paving work will be happening at the intersection of Leila Avenue and McPhillips Street starting at 6 a.m. Saturday and lasting until 6 p.m. Sunday. Drivers will not be able to drive east-west through the intersection. All westbound traffic will have to turn onto northbound McPhillips, while all eastbound traffic will be blocked off at Watson Street. Drivers will also not be able to turn left from northbound McPhillips onto Leila. Southbound McPhillips will be reduced to one land and there won’t be any turning in either direction.
