Winnipeg police are looking into how a body ended up in a recycling centre in the St. Boniface Industrial Park. Investigators said a tip came in early Thursday morning about a body found at a depot on Mazenod Road. Police believe the person is a man, but identification is pending. The suspicious death investigation is in the early stages, and more information is expected. City suspends recycling collection Late Thursday morning the City of Winnipeg announced it has suspended recycling collection due to a police investigation at the Materials Recovery Facility. Winnipeggers with a Thursday collection day are being asked to put their blue cart out on Saturday instead before 7 a.m. Friday’s recycling and all garbage collection are expected to continue as normal.
