Manitoba weather forecast: The sunshine continues

Plenty of heat and sunny skies are on tap for Wednesday across southern Manitoba.

Winnipeg and the surrounding region should see temperatures soar into the high 20s with light winds out of the south.

Clear conditions are expected to last throughout the night, with temperatures dipping down to 14 C.

Thursday will start off warm and sunny; however, a system moving through Saskatchewan will likely bring rain and the risk of non-severe thunderstorms in southern Manitoba.

Northern Manitoba will see plenty of sunshine on Wednesday as well, with daytime highs in the low 20s. There is a chance of showers in Thompson, Churchill and Gillam overnight, though temperatures should remain in double digits.

The weekend is shaping up to be fairly sunny and warm across the province with above-seasonal temperatures and mainly clear skies.
