Winnipeg police have arrested two men and a woman following a drug and firearm investigation in the Rossmere neighbourhood. On July 20, officers executed two search warrants at a residence in the 200 block of Devon Avenue. The investigation led to the seizure of more than $112,000 worth of illicit drugs, a loaded handgun, and other items. Among the seized items were 129 grams of crack cocaine, 998 grams of cocaine, three grams of MDMA, 18 grams of psilocybin, five bottles of 500 ml hydrocodone, a loaded handgun, an empty 50-round drum magazine, $1,100 in Canadian currency, drug packaging materials, scales, and a money counter. A man and a woman were arrested at the scene. On Aug. 1, investigators arrested a second man as the investigation continued. Two men are facing multiple charges, including drug trafficking, possession of a prohibited firearm, and possession of proceeds of crime. Both men remain in custody. A woman is also facing several charges, including drug trafficking and unauthorized possession of a firearm. She was released on an undertaking.
