Here’s how much snow fell Wednesday in Manitoba

Manitoba was hit with a blustery storm on Wednesday, bringing with it gusty winds and heavy snowfall.

According to Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), as of Thursday morning, Boissevain saw the highest snowfall total with 25 centimetres.

The weather agency reports that Morden was hit with 18 centimetres, while both Dauphin and Portage la Prairie got 15 centimetres.

Things were a little bit lighter in Brandon, which got eight centimetres, as well as Winnipeg with about three centimetres.

As of Thursday morning, a yellow snowfall warning remains in several southern and western Manitoba communities.

ECCC notes approximately two to four more centimetres of accumulations are expected in the affected regions; however, the snow is expected to taper off throughout the day.
