As heat and humidity continue on Monday, so does a heat warning across southern Manitoba, including Winnipeg. Expect hot highs in the upper 20s or low 30s with humidex values in the mid- to upper 30s under a mix of sun and cloud. Hazy conditions are also possible, at times. There is also a risk of thunderstorms later Monday afternoon across the south. Northern Manitoba will also be warm and hazy on Monday. Daytime highs in the low 20s are expected in areas furthest north, while the hottest highs in the upper 20s will show up in regions further south, including Flin Flon, The Pas and Norway House. There is a low chance of showers or a thunderstorm risk in the northwest and north-central areas. Otherwise, look for a mix of sun and cloud or cloudy skies across the north. To the east, much of northwestern Ontario will be sunny, hot and humid on Monday. Hot and humid conditions look to continue right through this final week of July across southern Manitoba, and continue into the August long weekend ahead.
