Young teenager seriously injured in collision with vehicle: WPS

The Windsor Police Service has closed Dominion Boulevard at Norfolk Street in all directions due to a collision investigation that saw a young teenager seriously hurt.

Police confirmed with CTV that a young teenager was hit by a vehicle while on a scooter. The incident happened just after 3 p.m. on Monday.

The 14-year-old was taken to hospital with serious on-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene.

The area was closed while the investigation took place. The investigation remains ongoing.
