Young artists in Windsor have a chance to showcase their work. The City of Windsor and the International Relations Committee are inviting local children between 6 and 13 years of age to participate in the 10th Annual Children’s Art Exhibition. The exhibition was created to strengthen Windsor’s relationships with its twin cities and to celebrate the creativity and artistic inspiration of children throughout the communities. Send or drop off drawings to: Sandra Gebauer 350 City Hall Square West, Suite 530 Windsor, Ontario N9A 6S1 Ensure the child’s name and contact information are included if you would like to be notified when the art is on display. Artwork should be submitted on paper or art paper, approximately 10 inches by 16 inches, and must be received no later than Friday, June 26, 2026. Annual tradition In the last 10 years, the annual tradition has grown to include more artwork from both young participants in Windsor and its twin cities. The first Children’s Art Exhibition was held at the Windsor International Aquatic and Training Centre Presented by WFCU Credit Union in 2017. It has visited several locations in the community, including City Hall, Devonshire Mall and Art Windsor-Essex as well as locations abroad at participating twin cities. This year, young artists are encouraged to create artwork on a theme of their choice that showcases their creativity and unique perspective in celebration of the exhibition’s 10-year milestone. Details about the exhibition will be shared with participants once they are finalized.
