Windsor’s Santa Claus Parade returns bigger and better!

Windsor’s Santa Parade is bigger than it has been in the last 20 years.

Windsor’s Santa Claus Parade is set to be bigger and better this year, featuring more entries than there has been in the last 20 years.

A total of 75 entries will be involved in the downtown spectacle.

Eight bands, new characters, and of course, Santa will all take part. It begins at 6 p.m. on Dec. 6 at Ouellette Avenue and Giles Boulevard East. It will head north along Ouellette to Pitt Street.

The parade is expected to last two hours due to its size.

Beforehand, the Holiday Market will once again be held in the Pelissier Street parking garage from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
