Where to vote: Election Day in Windsor’s Ward 2

Voting is open until 8 p.m. Monday as residents head to the polls for Windsor’s Ward 2 byelection.

It’s Election Day for Windsor’s Ward 2 byelection and voting is open until 8 p.m. on Monday.

Windsor has welcomed a new ‘anywhere in your ward’ voting system, offering seven voting locations:

• Sandwich Teen Action Group Gym at 3735 King Street
• Mackenzie Hall Court Auditorium at 3277 Sandwich Street
• Canterbury College Great Room at 2500 University Avenue West
• Campbell Baptist Church Fellowship Hall at 1821 Wyandotte Street West
• University Community Church Sanctuary at 2320 Wyandotte Street West
• Life After 50 Gym at 635 McEwan Avenue
• Malden Park Visitors Centre Community Room at 4200 Malden Road

The City of Windsor reminds that voter notification cards weren’t issued this time around and is not needed to vote.

All you have to do is bring acceptable photo identification, a full list available here.

If you need a way to the polls, you can ride the bus for free when you go to vote. You just need to tell the driver you are going to or coming from voting.
