Looking for some entertainment to beat the winter blahs? There are plenty of options in Windsor-Essex this weekend.

Beauty and the Beat

Canadian composer Jordan Pal’s edgy Upwell – described as the natural process that lifts nutrient-rich waters to the surface and fuels new life and growth. Upwell was written for a digital performer and orchestra. It brings together new technology and traditional music. This concert also features Ralph Vaughan Williams’ Symphony No. 8 – a powerful piece of music, mixing intense, dramatic moments with beautiful, subtle movements.

This concert is 120 minutes, including intermission. Venue: Capitol Theatre in Windsor.
