Support the Kidney Foundation with upcoming Rock the Walk event in Windsor

The Kidney Foundation has revamped its annual Windsor fundraiser, renaming it Rock the Walk.

The Kidney Foundation of Canada has announced its annual fundraiser, Rock the Walk Fashion and Live Music Celebration, coming up in June.

It will happen on June 13 at the St. Clair College Centre for the Arts.

This is a bigger and more inclusive version of the past ‘Celebrity Men Fashion Event’.

“The Kidney Foundation is very excited to have an energized team of people with a vision to make Rock the Walk an amazing fundraising event for Windsor,” said Gene Schilling, event chairperson.

“We are honouring the great work done in the past with Celebrity Men and taking it to new heights, all for a great cause.”

It is built around fashion, live music, and community, the organization said. It has partnered with Fashion Week Windsor to bring a true fashion show experience. Billy Raffoul will perfect during the main show and a full band concert after the VIP afterparty.

“This event is an opportunity to share expertise and resources with key stakeholders who play important roles in the fight against kidney disease,” a news release read.

“Therefore, Rock the Walk will have significant contributions from both St. Clair College and Windsor Regional Hospital’s Renal Unit.”
