The Municipality of Chatham-Kent is offering storm-related brush pickup in Wheatley. Residents of Wheatley and Romney, west of Klondyke Road, are advised to place all storm-related brush at the curb by 7 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 14 for collection by Public Works crews. The municipality is also encouraging residents to take advantage of the Romney Leaf and Yard Depot throughout the weekend (Sept. 12 & 13) to dispose of brush and yard waste. Depot hours will be extended to accommodate increased demand following the storm last week.
