Drivers in Windsor can expect traffic disruptions for several weeks as road work and paving projects get underway on Howard Avenue and Division Road. The City of Windsor says lane closures in both directions will be in effect on Howard Avenue and Division Road between E.C. Row Expressway and Marentette Avenue beginning Monday, Sept. 21. The closures are required to accommodate road work and the placement of final surface asphalt along the corridor. The construction is expected to continue until Friday, Oct. 16, weather permitting. Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time, watch for crews and equipment, and follow all posted traffic signs while travelling through the area.
