Winnipeg police are asking for the public’s help to identify two people of interest following an alleged arson last month. The fire took place the morning of Sept. 28 in the first 100 block of Granville Street. Bystanders were seen trying to rescue a person from the home. They were eventually removed through the window by firefighters and taken to hospital in stable condition. One other bystander was assessed for a minor injury at the scene. Winnipeg police shared a photo Friday of two people they are hoping to track down and are also asking for any security, dashcam or cellphone video from the time of the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 204-986-2426.
