Some drivers double charged for Gordie Howe bridge trips

Some drivers say they’ve been charged twice for the same trip on the new Gordie Howe International Bridge.

One Windsor man says he made several crossings during opening week and later spotted double charges on his credit card.

The Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority says it knows about the issue and its customer care team is working with drivers to sort out the charges.

The normal toll for a passenger vehicle is $8.

Drivers with concerns are being told to contact Breakaway customer care.
