Man who allegedly brandished knife in Windsor restaurant wanted

Windsor police are searching for a man who allegedly brandished a knife inside a Wyandotte Street East restaurant.

A man is wanted after allegedly brandishing a knife in a restaurant in Windsor.

Around 12 p.m. on April 3, police were called with a report of a man with a knife in the 90 block of Wyandotte Street East.

Officers said the suspect got into an argument with employees and was asked to leave for breaking restaurant rules. He allegedly pulled a black fixed-blade knife, around six inches long, before running away.

No injuries were reported.

He is described as a white man, around 50 to 60 years old, with long, grey hair and a partial beard. At the time, he was wearing blue jeans, a grey long-sleeved shirt, a beige vest, bracelets, a black watch, a black backpack, and had black sunglasses on his head. The man was riding a silver and black bicycle with a silver bell and basket with a yellow and black power tool.

The man is wanted for an assault with a weapon charge.
