A suspect was arrested after a Windsor restaurant disturbance, leading to a drugs and weapons seizure. On June 30 at approximately 1 p.m., police responded to a report of an armed man threatening patrons at a restaurant in the 90 block of Wyandotte Street East. The man was allegedly challenging people to fight. Officers arrested the man without incident and after searching him, they seized a pair of brass knuckles, approximately 31.6 grams of fentanyl, 30 hydromorphone tablets and over $5,100. The 45-year-old man was arrested and charged with possession of a prohibited weapon, two counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and three counts of failure to comply with a probation order. No physical injuries were reported.
