Ottawa police are investigating after a man was shot in Billings Bridge early Saturday morning. According to a statement from police, officers located a man in his 20s in life-threatening condition on Bank Street near Heron Road just after 4:30 a.m. Paramedics say they treated the patient, who was suffering from a penetrating trauma, and transported him to the hospital in serious condition. Police say no one is in custody at this time, and the Guns and Gangs and East Investigations units are investigating.
