‘Losers’: Pelee Island mayor disappointed over vandalism

Significant damage is being reported after vandalism at a sports field on Pelee Island.

The East Park Activity Field had several deep tire marks, according to a post on the Township of Pelee Facebook page on Sunday.

“It will take time and resources to restore this area which will cost the entire community,” said the post.

Pelee mayor Cathy Miller also expressed disappointment in the vandalism in an online post.

“Losers. Losers vandalize the property of the marginalized Township they live in. Losers act like they care about Pelee and then pull this. Losers,” she said in a post on X.
