South Simcoe Police have laid charges against a 66-year-old man in relation to a vandalism incident at the Islamic centre in Innisfil that occurred on April 10. The alleged suspect, a resident of the town, has been charged with mischief to a religious property not exceeding $5,000. The accused is set to appear in court on July 16.
