Essex County OPP are reminding of increased traffic and road closures in Leamington this weekend.

The Hogs for Hospice motorcycle rally will take place, beginning Friday and wrapping up on Sunday.

You are asked to be patient, as more motorcycle traffic than normal is anticipated. Drivers should be extra vigilant and take more time checking blind spots, mirrors, and signaling your turns to prevent collisions.

An increased police presence will also be in Leamington to ensure safety and help with any traffic issues.

New to the event this year is enhanced security to get into the concert area, where you will see more hand metal detectors and bag searches.

OPP also reminds that Seacliff Drive West will be closed from Erie Street South to Sherk Street, as well as Forest Avenue, from 2 p.m. on Friday until 8 p.m. on Sunday.
