A hit-and-run suspect was arrested after a collision with a motorcycle on Wednesday. Just after 5:30 a.m., police were called to the incident on Dougall Avenue and the eastbound E.C. Row Expressway off-ramp. Officers said the motorcycle was going south on Dougall when it was hit by the sedan, which was turning west onto the Expressway. Police said the driver of the sedan did not stop and drove away. The 59-year-old motorcyclist was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Later, investigators found the suspect vehicle in a parking lot of a Tecumseh business. The driver, identified as a 62-year-old, was charged with failing to remain at the scene of an accident resulting in bodily harm.
