Detroit is preparing for the Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) draft Wednesday night at the Fox Theatre. Detroit is one of PWHL’s newest franchises but will have a bit of a wait for its first pick. It traded its first-round pick to secure U.S. Olympian Hilary Knight, now picking 15th overall in the second round. It all begins at 5 p.m. Wednesday as Detroit builds its inaugural roster.
