Cool, unsettled start to May expected in Windsor-Essex

A stretch of cool, unsettled weather is setting the tone for the start of May in Windsor-Essex, with clouds, scattered showers and brisk winds continuing through the end of the week before a gradual warmup early next week.

The cool and unsettled pattern continues Friday, May 1, with mainly cloudy skies and a 60 per cent chance of showers. Temperatures will be slightly cooler, with a high of 9 C. Skies will clear overnight, bringing temperatures down to around 0 C.

The weekend brings some improvement, beginning with sunny skies Saturday and a high of 10 C. Clear conditions continue Saturday night, with temperatures once again falling to the freezing mark. Sunday offers a mix of sun and cloud, along with a 40 per cent chance of showers and a slightly warmer high of 13 C. Clouds increase again overnight with a 30 per cent chance of showers and a low of 7 C.
