An assisted living worker has been arrested in connection with a $35,000 theft. On Monday, Windsor police received a report of a theft at a private home. They said the victim was in hospital for an extended period of time in the summer. Surveillance footage showed the victim’s assisted living worker going into the home without permission while the victim was in hospital, allegedly taking cash and valuables. Police added the building’s surveillance hard drive was also stolen. A 51-year-old man was found and arrested in the west end of Windsor. He has been charged with two counts of break-and-enter to commit an indictable offence.
