The Windsor Police Service has arrested two people after almost $30,000 in drugs and cash was seized in the city. An investigation was launched into people suspected of allegedly trafficking drugs near schools in west Windsor, according to police. A search warrant was executed on Wednesday morning at a home in the 3300 block of Sandwich Street. Seized items included: A 33-year-old and 31-year-old, both with ties to the Greater Toronto Area, have been arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds obtained by crime over $5,000.
