Windsor police have arrested a 17-year-old youth after a running car was stolen on Tecumseh Road East. Officers responded to a report of a vehicle theft in a restaurant parking lot in the 3000 block of Tecumseh Road East, near Drouillard Road shortly before 8 a.m. on Feb. 5. Police learned that the suspect entered an unoccupied Ford Fusion that had been left running with the keys inside. The suspect, described as wearing a black balaclava, fled the area with the vehicle. Later that evening, officers located and recovered the stolen vehicle in the 5400 block of Reginald Street later. During a search of the vehicle, officers discovered a .38-calibre bullet. On Feb. 7, officers located and arrested the suspect without incident in the 1600 block of Drouillard Road.
