Video sought after ‘object’ injures paramedics in moving ambulance, B.C. RCMP say

Authorities are asking for the public’s help investigating an unusual incident that injured two paramedics in northern B.C. this week.

Few details have been confirmed, but the RCMP said the incident happened along 1^st Avenue in Prince George around 4 p.m. Thursday.

“The investigation is still in the early stages, but what we do know is that an object entered a passing ambulance through the window, striking one of the two paramedics,” Cpl. Jennifer Cooper of the Prince George RCMP said in a statement.

Both paramedics were taken to hospital for treatment of what authorities described as non-life-threatening injuries.

Cooper urged anyone “who witnessed the event or who has dash-camera footage capturing the incident” to contact the Prince George detachment’s non-emergency line at 250-561-3300.
