Along with system preparations, TransLink is asking riders to take extra precautions. Its winter travel guide recommends giving yourself more time and checking updates before leaving home. The agency also encourages customers to expect outdoor waits and changing conditions throughout the day. Riders are urged to dress warmly and be mindful of icy areas, with guidance reminding people to “use handrails” and watch for slippery platforms, stairs, and bus loop areas.
