Surrey residents have elected Doug McCallum to serve as their mayor again. After losing to Brenda Locke by less than 1,000 votes in 2022, McCallum has defeated Locke in this year’s election to return to the office he held from 2018 through 2022 and for nine years in the 1990s and early 2000s. CTV News anchors Mi-Jung Lee and Nafesa Karim are hosting special coverage of the results live on CTVNewsVancouver.ca, Crave, YouTube, TikTok and X.
