One person is recovering in hospital after their vehicle crashed into a tree and rolled over in Surrey, B.C., Sunday afternoon. Police officers, firefighters and paramedics were called to the area of 24 Avenue and 168 Street just after 5 p.m. amid a report of a single-vehicle crash, the Surrey Police Service said in a statement Monday morning. Police said the car had left the road, collided with a tree and flipped over onto its back. The driver was removed from the vehicle and taken to hospital in serious condition. No one else was involved or injured in the crash, the statement said. Police are still working to determine the cause of the collision.
