One person has died and another is in hospital after an overnight rollover crash in Langley. Mounties were called to Glover Road, just north of Highway 10, around 1:20 a.m. amid a report of a crash involving a single vehicle, the Langley RCMP said in a statement Friday morning. Officers arrived to find the car off the roadway on the east side of Glover Road. Images taken at the scene show a black SUV flipped onto its back on the outer side of the road’s concrete barrier. “One person has tragically lost their life and another (has been) taken to hospital,” said Sgt. Zynal Sharoom in the statement. “At this time impairment and speed have not been ruled out as contributing factors in this collision.” The Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service has been deployed to the area and the 7600 block of Glover Road will remain closed while an investigation gets underway. Police advise motorists to avoid the area and find alternate routes.
