Police are searching for suspects after a man was stabbed in Mississauga early Thursday morning. It happened at around 4 a.m. in the area of Lakeshore Road East and Cawthra Road. A 33-year-old man was found suffering from stab wounds he sustained during an altercation in the area. He was taken to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. “Investigators are currently working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident and how the injury was sustained,” police said in an email to CP24. “At this time, there is no information to suggest an ongoing threat to public safety.”
