Two people are dead after a single-vehicle crash in North York early Saturday morning. In a post to social media, Toronto police say officers responded to the are of Romfield Lane and Finch Avenue West just before 5 a.m. Police say the vehicle struck a traffic light pole, which was completely knocked down. The airbags also deployed. “Two males have been pronounced deceased on scene,” police said. As a result, the intersection remains closed as officials continue to investigate. Drivers are being asked to avoid the area.
