Police warn of large presence at Bowmanville park after stabbing

One person has been taken to hospital with serious injuries and another is in police custody after a stabbing in Bowmanville on Monday.

Police say that they have currently have a large presence in Rotary Park as a result.

Few details are known about the circumstances surrounding the stabbing at this point.

Footage from the scene shows police tape blocking the entrance to a home on a nearby street with blood visible on its front door. Police tape is also shown restricting access to nearby Rotary Park.

Police say that the investigation into the stabbing remains ongoing.
