A male was rushed to the hospital following a stabbing in North York late Saturday morning, Toronto police say. The incident happened in the Black Creek neighbourhood, near Jane Street and Shoreham Drive. Police said they were called that that area at 11:12 am for a stabbing at a residence. There, officers found a male victim who had been stabbed. He was transported to hospital via trauma run by paramedics, police said. Investigators are describing his injuries are non-life-threatening. Paramedics said they transported an adult to a trauma centre, with serious, but non-life-threatening, injuries. A female suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival. Investigators later said that the victim and the suspect are known to each other. There is a large police presence in the area.
