Two men were taken to hospital with injuries following separate weekend stabbings in Saskatoon. Around 9:30 p.m. Saturday, police were called to the 1000 block of Matheson Drive for a report of a man that had been stabbed. The 33-year-old man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. At about 12:40 a.m. Sunday police were called to the 800 block of Confederation drive. They arrived to find a 31-year-old man with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. He was taken to hospital by paramedics. An investigation by police determined the victim in the second attack was reportedly assaulted by multiple people, including one with a machete. Anyone with information on either incident is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
