Saskatoon fire crews battle garage fire

Saskatoon fire crews responded to a garage fire in the city’s west end Thursday morning.

At around 9:24 a.m., firefighters were called to the 3000 block of 20th Street West, where they observed smoke and flames coming from a detached garage.

The fire department says the blaze was fully extinguished after crews attacked the flames from outside.

No injuries were reported to civilians of firefighters.

A fire investigator was on the scene Thursday morning to determine the cause, origin and damage estimate.
