Sask. RCMP issue warrant for man involved in North Battleford death

RCMP are looking for a man charged in the death of another man from North Battleford earlier this week.

A 21-year-old man has been charged with murder in connection with a suspicious death in North Battleford earlier this week.

Police say Tyson Cummer of North Battleford has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of 36-year-old Tyson Mosquito.

Officers were called to an alley behind a home on 105th Street around 4 p.m. on April 28 after receiving a report of an injured man, Saskatchewan RCMP said in a news release.

Arriving officers found the man at the scene. He was taken to hospital by EMS where he was later pronounced dead.

A warrant has been issued for Cummer’s arrest, and RCMP are asking the public to help locate him.

He is described as five-foot 10 inches, weighing about 200 pounds, with brown eyes and black, curly hair. Police say he also has a large scar on his right arm.

Police say if he is seen in public, do not approach him and instead call RCMP immediately.
