Prince Albert police say the death of a 60-year-old man found at an apartment building earlier this week is not criminal. In an update sent Wednesday, police said the man’s death was determined to be natural after an autopsy was completed on July 7. According to police, there was no criminal element involved and no further investigation is required. The man’s family has been notified. At around 3:15 p.m. on July 6, officers were called to a multi dwelling residence in the 300 block of 32nd Street West to assist Parkland Ambulance. Paramedics were attending to a man who was unconscious and not breathing. Police said the 60-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. The death was initially investigated by the police service’s Major Crimes Unit and Forensic Identification Section along with the Saskatchewan Coroner’s Office.
