Police say two suspicious deaths in Knowlesville, N.B., are the result of a murder-suicide. RCMP responded to a report of two sudden deaths at a residence on Knowlesville Road around 9:49 p.m. on Aug. 12. When police arrived, they found a 68-year-old man and a 74-year-old man both from the community dead inside the residence. Police say the two men were known to each other. In an update on Wednesday, police say autopsies on the two men were completed and determined one of the men’s death was the result of a homicide, and the other’s was the result of a self-inflicted wound. Police add a firearm was recovered at the scene. “Due to the circumstances surrounding the deaths, no criminal charges will be laid.
