CPKC Holiday Train to make stops in Saskatchewan

The CPKC holiday train is rolling through Saskatchewan this weekend, bringing bright lights and live music to several communities.

The train, coming from Winnipeg, will enter Saskatchewan Saturday morning, making a few stops in the Yorkton area, before making its way to Wynyard in the afternoon.

It’s set to arrive in Saskatoon, at the corner of Warburton and 7th Avenue North, Saturday between 8:45 and 9:15 p.m.

The Holiday Train will also make stops in Wilkie and Macklin on Sunday, Dec. 6.

Jade Eagleson and Teigen Gayse will performing for the Saskatchewan leg of the trip.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable donation for their local food bank.

In a press release, the Saskatoon Food Bank and Learning Centre (SFBLC) says it’s aiming to fill 40 bins with urgently needed items for emergency hampers.

The 2025 CPKC Holiday Train is touring Canada and the U.S. from Nov. 19 through Dec. 21. Since its inaugural journey in 1999, the train has raised more than $26 million and approximately 5.4 million pounds of food for community food banks.
