The provincial government says staff at its Dubai trade office have been advised to work from home amid uncertainty over Iranian missile strikes. The managing director of the office was at a Toronto conference when the conflict in Iran began, and he’s been encouraged to stay in Canada for now. Other ministry support staff, who are Dubai locals, are being asked to work from home. The trade office is embedded within the Global Affairs Canada office there and the province has been working closely with them to understand the concerns and risks in the area.
