A 12-year-old boy has been rushed to the hospital after being struck by a vehicle in midtown Toronto on Friday night. Toronto police say it occurred at the intersection of Duplex Avenue and Lawrence Avenue West, near Yonge Street, shortly before 6:30 p.m. The boy’s injuries are critical but not life-threatening, police say. According to Toronto paramedics, the boy is in stable condition. Police say the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene. The circumstances surrounding the collision are unknown.
