The Saskatchewan Roughriders will open the defence of their Grey Cup championship on June 13, 2026, when they play host to the B.C. Lions visit Mosaic Stadium. The Riders, who defeated the Montreal Alouettes 25-17 on Nov. 15 to claim the 2025 Grey Cup championship, will play 10 regular-season home games in 2026. The CFL schedule, which was released Tuesday morning, normally provides each of the league’s nine teams with nine home games, nine road games and three bye weeks each season. The Riders received an additional home game in 2026 due to the Toronto Argonauts having to vacate BMO Field which will be used for the FIFA World Cup in June and July. Toronto’s home date on June 26 instead will be played at Mosaic Stadium. Because of this change, Rider season ticket packages will include 10 regular-season games rather than nine regular-season games and one preseason game. The Riders will host their May 23 preseason game against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in Saskatoon. The Riders will have their bye weeks in Week 1, Week 7 and Week 16. The regular season home game schedule is comprised of four games on Saturday, three on Friday, two on Sunday and one on Thursday.
