Regina Urgent Care Centre closed on Sunday, reduced hours on Saturday

The Regina Urgent Care Centre (UCC) will once again operate on reduced hours this weekend.

On Saturday, the centre will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. On Sunday, it will be closed.

According to the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA), the changes are to accommodate physician availability and to “proactively ensure the availability of services for our patients.”

The SHA says the UCC will return to regular hours of 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Friday and Monday.

Anyone experiencing a medical emergency while the UCC is closed is advised to call 911 or go to the emergency department at Regina General Hospital or Pasqua Hospital.

Those needing non-emergency medical care are asked to call HealthLine 811, visit a walk-in clinic or contact their pharmacy.
